Mardi Gras Carnival in Birmingham!!

Last week was a fabulous celebration for Broadway Casino. Celebrating 5 years of trading as an independant casino & they put on a real show for clients. We were booked to provide the decor and boy was it BIG! Setting to work (back breaking) Melissa Johnson, designed and built a 9ft balloon carnival mask which she suspended between two 6ft twisted balloon columns. This was the backdrop for their photographer aswel as a welcome display. Follow link below for pics. Placing floor and table clusters around the casino in true carnival colours transformed the atmosphere ready for the dancing girls!
What a fabulous way to celebrate & we loved setting the scene.

Soooo Busy!!

Hello people! Well, our abscence from Blogging has been due to an averlanche of work over easter! We have decorated and supplied PR balloons with every bit of enthusiasm as usual. Next we are in a Tesco store tomorrow for a great franchise hitting the midlands over the next few months so our balloon arch will be a real visual ice breaker aswel as attracting customers letting them know there is something going on!
Over easter we worked with Indie Bar in the Arcadian, Birmingham City Centre & supplied balloons for a promotion. It's always the same, as we walk into the bar, bunches of balloons in our hands, we get bombarded with
requests! " can we have a balloon?" never fails. We can custom print your logo or message onto balloons for great promotion work aswel as print your staff's promo workwear. Prices vary so please enquire & we will discuss our idea's to make your event a success.

Congratulations to Bella Mac Adams! The winner of our Blissful Balloon 'logo' competition. After her prize of a new MP4 media player was presented, they met with local news reporters for photo shoots & interviews to be printed tomorrow & Friday.

Superb news for Q3 Academy & Blissful Balloons. This wednesday (10th March), Owner Melissa Johnson will be back at school during morning assembly to announce the winner of her 'Logo design' competition. It has been a very exciting project for Melissa & she is delighted to finally thank the students for their hard work & dedication along with their wonderful entries. "I am always humbled by the enthusiasm of students at Q3, there is a real buzz around the academy and students show flare and creativity in this subject". Once the design has been signed over to Blissful Balloons, work will commmence to implement the design into the corporate branding so keep checking the website to see for yourself!

Deliveries are limited Sunday with only a few appointments left now so show how organised you are and forget last minute panic scrambling for battered boxes of chocs at the petrol station. Simply call, place your order and relax! you will be a real hit! Balloons will last upto a week and bouquets start from £25 including hearts and themed foils!

Dates getting Booked already!

January has been very different to how I imagined. Thought I'd be able to do a bit of this and that during this month whilst it was quiet?
NOT AT ALL! What a mad month..starting working 2nd Jan' after working solid through December and in between Christmas/New year. So glad people are planning their celebrations in advance. Last year was non stop 'last minute' bookings even weddings!
My best advise if you are planning a celebration..book now! We never overbook days so that we never have to rush an event, concentrating on quality & not quantity.

Blissful Balloons Have got the X FACTOR!!!

Wow, well, I have had a lovely surprise today! Turned up at the Internation Convention Centre and decorated the stage for Stacey Sollomon, from the X factor! Superb! Good luck to all the hard working Business owners at the BOBS 2010 awards tonight. I was honoured to be part of it.
